Participant of the “Sales and Management ADVANCED” Course, Cohort XXX – Mariana Korachashvili

  • 22 Jan 2026

1) What motivated you to take the Sales and Management course at ISI?
I learned about the course through social media. The first thing that impressed me was the trainers - that became my main motivation to enroll. I was especially looking forward to Andro’s lectures with great anticipation.

2) What did you expect before the course started, and did reality meet your expectations?
Before the course, I expected to learn several sales and negotiation techniques and be able to apply them in everyday life. In reality, the course not only met but exceeded my expectations -it was not just about learning sales techniques, but a truly life-changing experience. I will use the knowledge gained during the training at every stage of my life.

3) Which topics or sessions stood out to you the most, and why?
The most memorable was Andro’s in-depth analysis of the Hero’s Journey and the breakdown of its stages. I had never looked at films from this perspective before, yet the hero goes through all the stages that lead to major turning points in both life and career.

4) What was the most practical part of the course for you?
Without a doubt - the Harvard Case. It was not just a case discussion; we stepped into the roles of the characters, and it felt as if our own fate was at stake - that’s how deeply we engaged in solving the challenges. It was an extremely valuable experience in terms of negotiation.

5) How has the knowledge gained from the course influenced your daily work?
I have become more confident. Whether I am making a phone call or entering a meeting, I now know how to start a conversation and guide it effectively.

6) How did your perspective on sales and management change after the course?
I moved beyond the standard sales framework. What I previously considered “sales” was completely redefined after this course. Scripted lines and artificial behavior are no longer sales - as Davit would say, “The most important thing is to be genuine.”

7) In your opinion, what sets ISI apart?
The mentors - they are truly outstanding. They manage the process in such an engaging way that there is no room for distraction or loss of focus. You feel motivated to absorb every word and action and not miss a single detail.

8) Who would you recommend this course to, and why?
I believe this course is not only for sales managers. Anyone in top management, or anyone involved in negotiations or sales in any capacity, should take it. Even a financial professional can discover valuable insights, grow professionally, and gain new perspectives.
